Nuzex, Ynn 7, Cycle 3841, at approximately 15 Runs.

Athredon Giltikeaneac met Nigar at The Titan’s Tavern at the agreed upon time according to The Service Agreement.

Eric’s character is already there. Some time passes before Cipher enters.

Cipher is a mimicking Kenku wearing winter garb and a “tinfoil hat” of sorts. He sits near Jericho and procures shiny rocks and metallic baubles onto the counter towards Jericho.

Jericho sighs. “Oh. One of you again. Uhh, hold on I’ve played this game once.” He reaches into his own pocket for a silver coin and slides it over and takes one of the shiny rocks without making eye contact.

However. Cipher’s hand covered the pile of Shiny as Jericho slides a coin underneath. Cipher nonverbally insists Jericho takes more.

” I don’t want to trade anymore,” says Jericho. As Jericho raises his hand, anchored on the counter, Cipher slides the Shiny under that hand. Jericho pockets the Shiny.

The entire interaction feels forced with traces of slight autism.

The bird man stares at Jericho.

“I’m sorry friend. Is there something more you need?”

“Where’s the information? I just gave you my best shinies. Where’s the information?”

A large Goliath enters the tavern. He has pale blue skin with spiralling tattoos with piercing eyes and gold jewellery.

“Oi whahut the fook is dis? Nevermind, I don’t have time for this. OI. IS THERE A NIGAR OVER HEAH? IM LOOKING FOR NEEGAH.” All the locals turn to stare at Nigar as Nigar stares at Krieg Ironfist.

Krieg asks Nigar, “You the bloke? Sorry for being late.” He gives a long winded explanation before joining Nigar’s table.

Cipher tries putting the shinies in Krieg’s hand. Krieg responds “One ale please. No no, I’m supposed to pay you. Here’s a copper.” Cipher takes the piece and the pile, pockets it, and returns to the bar.

Everyone finally seats at Nigar’s table. He orders drinks for the table yet doesn’t touch his own. He bridges his hands over his drink and asks, “Now, to business?”

The half payment amounts to 500 gold per person. The job requires the party to investigate something about trade. The details of the contract are to be known only by the party.

If a party member dies, the other party members are allowed to distribute items as they see fit.

Nigar passes out The Contract packets.

Only Jericho notices the fine print. If the contract is breached by an individual, that person becomes an outlaw.

“If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.”

Krieg signs the contract with Nigar’s gem imprinted quill. His name glows once his name is signed. Athredon notices it’s magically binding in some way and asks Nigar about it. Nigar simply states, “It’s a contract.” Athredon signs with his own pen anyways and his name glows.

Once Jericho is the last to sign, he points out that if there is a breach of contract, everyone becomes outlaws.

Nigar collects the contracts. The Gem Encrusted Quill goes to Cipher. Nigar passes out pouches of gold and produces a WorldMap.

Gabbro might be able to provide Jericho with supplies. All the party knows we will want to find the dwarves.

Athredon goes to the bar. Jericho approaches the female dwarf but is quickly turned away. The male dwarf introduces himself as a stonemason.

Krieg gives the bartender a gold piece while asking for Gabbro. Athredon says “I mean, I did give you a nice tip earlier, and this man is a new friend of mine. Come on, help a fella out.”

The bartender says something about not selling a comrade out and how one gold isn’t enough.

Turns out the Bartender is Gabbro.

The party goes on a shopping spree for adventuring supplies while Athredon Giltikeaneac shops alone. The party reunites at the workshop Jericho wanted to visit for ammunition.

This place reeks of sulphur and has a darker, dingier vibe compared to the previous shops visited. Nothing expensive is on display. A dwarven woman is hard at work behind a counter.

“Excuse me miss. Sorry to interrupt you. I was sent here and I got this beautiful barrel of mead here, if I could just have a moment of your time.”

She was initially annoyed with the interruption until gifted with a keg. “This was from Gabbro.”, says Krieg.

Jericho empties the ammo from his gun and hands the gun to the woman. She inspects it carefully and hands the gun back.

She asks for three gold, and Jericho affirms.

“200. Three gold.”

“Sold.”

“Got any rifles?”

“80.”

“A fine deal. Make it 85.”

The dwarf woman returns with a hunting rifle.

Krieg asks, “Do you only specialize in ranged?”

“What are you looking for, dummy?”

“Something for these two guns.” Krieg holds up his fists.

She gives you a slow blink.

“Anything to improve my striking power.” He starts shadowboxing.

She agrees to make him brass knuckles for a gold piece, and tells him to come back later.
