The roar of the river hasn’t quite left our ears. We all hear a buzzing, humming sound. Krieg determined it’s ahead of us.
Athredon jumps out of the cart to investigate the noise ahead. Krieg follows and both are leading the cart. The humming is becoming more noticeable; Athredon can’t tell if it’s magic based or not.
Jericho notices beetles are scurrying on the ceiling. They seem to be following the wagon and are capable of flight.

After one of the beetle things with big ass mandibles gets shot, the buzzing stops.
They are called mandibats, but I know them as buzzwangers
We decide to long rest within the tunnel after we no longer hear the mandibats.
We continue for another hour and find a cave near a large cavern with a lake and bioluminescence. Our cave has rather large mushrooms inside it.
Khione is the only member who stays awake. She stays in the wagon and becomes aware of a sentient mushroom. She watches it for a couple hours.
Khione wakes Athredon. It’s a delicacy; Tastes amazing. Athredon casts Create Bonfire and roasts the Bouncing Fungus to perfection. Cutting it into portions grants 6, but Athredon eats 2 portions and offers 1 to Khione.
Krieg wakes up to a tiny catlike creature laying on his chest that leans into his petting. It produces trilling chirps.
I see them up in the mountains in frostbreath. A Snugbug, typically domesticated, rarely found in the wild. They are living, breathing, heat sources. Heat stones have since replaced their usage.
